Join Nor Cal Snowboarders for a fun day on the water. We will paddle in the protected San Rafael channel, which is out of the fog belt and wonderfully warm. Whether you are new to SUP or an expert paddler, this event is for you. Feeling a bit nervous? Not to worry, there will be both on-land and on-water instruction. After paddling, we’ll head to a local restaurant for lunch.
Instruction & board set-up at 9:45am; leave dock at 10:00am
Cost: $30 per person (includes life vest, board, paddle, instruction & 2 hours of paddling)
Maximum attendees: 25 (members need to prepay to hold space)

FAQs
What do I wear? NO COTTON or FLEECE. Swimsuits, board shorts and fast drying athletic wear are best. Dress in layers. You’ll warm up as you begin to paddle. Bring a hat and don’t forget sunscreen.
Can I change there? Yep. There are changing rooms and outdoor rinse showers.
Where do I leave my stuff?In your car or lockers are available for valuables. (BRING YOUR OWN LOCK!)
Are those boards really stable? Yep. I do yoga on them.
Can I bring my phone? Best not to risk it. If you don’t want it wet, best to leave it. I’ll take photos and post them on FB.
