-Float Day-

Casual Float Day of the UPPER AMERICAN RIVER. I kinda like to avoid the normal float from Sunrise on down on the American River, so we'll start at Coloma Park in Coloma, and float to Greenwood Park (Approx 5 miles with some class 2 rapids). Afterwards, we can have a BBQ at our house, just bring what you wanna eat, or shop afterwards. Got a fire pit and music.....bring some board games.

We'll meet at 11:30 in EDH, and try to be in the water by noon-ish, then float the 5 miles. Parking does cost $5 in Coloma.

What to bring:

• Something to float on 

• Lifevest 

• Sunblock

• old tennis shoes

• $5 for parking if you drive alone, otherwise you can split it with your carpoolers at Coloma
